ABOUT US
Lebanon Branch Preservation Trust is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed by a group of individuals with varying backgrounds that through their experience volunteering at railroad museums or working for shortline railroads realized the potential the now abandoned Lebanon Branch of the L&N Railroad could have in the modern era, and the benefits it could provide to the Central Kentucky region.
Meet The Board
Maison Young, EIT
President
Mr. Young, a Marion County native, is a civil engineer with a decade of project management experience in heavy civil construction and design. He has also been a member and volunteer with Kentucky Railway Museum since 2009 and has served on their board of directors for nine years. He is a certified locomotive engineer, and has years of experience with railroad operations, maintenance, and restoration.

Rob Minton
Board Member
Mr. Minton is a purchasing manager in the automotive electronics field, with over 30 years of experience in negotiation, supplier development, and project management.
Born in Louisville, he has been a member of the Kentucky Railway Museum since 1996 and currently serves as a board member, locomotive engineer, and leads the mechanical restoration of steam locomotive L&N #152, built in 1905.

Chris Moyer
Board Member
Mr. Moyer of Casey County is a 25-year shortline freight railroad veteran who also doubles as an IT systems engineer for a multi-national corporation. On the railroad, he is a certified conductor and engineer and is in his 11th year as a supervisor, executing safety inspections, teaching classes, dispatching trains and crews, and implementing Federal Railroad Administration compliance requirements. He has also volunteered with three historic steam tourist rail operations, including being an active member with the Kentucky Railway Museum.
Joe Nugent
Board Member
Mr. Nugent is a native of Loretto, KY with some of his fondest memories being watching trains on the Lebanon Branch from his grandmother’s back porch. He is a member of the Kentucky Railway Museum, and has been involved with Bluegrass Scenic Railroad & Museum in Versailles, KY, and the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation in Ravenna, KY. He has also worked with regional and Class One railroads in a variety of roles including emergency responses, workplace safety training, and equipment acquisitions and moves across the nations rail system. Joe also has nearly 3 decades of service as both a volunteer and career Firefighter at several departments within Kentucky.
Luke Stottman
Board Member
Mr. Stottman is a freight train conductor for a Kentucky based short line railroad, with three years of freight railroading experience.
Born in Louisville, he has been a member and volunteer with Kentucky Railway Museum since 2019, being a certified locomotive engineer, and has assisted with various restoration and maintenance projects.
Stewart Graham
Board Member
Mr. Graham, originally from Taylor County, is a technical engineer in the automotive field with experience in mechanical design, project management, and rapid prototyping. He grew up in close proximity to the L&N's Greensburg Branch right-of-way and developed a deep appreciation for railroad history and preservation at a young age. He now resides in Lebanon, KY, and is an active member of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Historical Society.
Channing Young
Board Member
Mr. Young, a Marion County native, is a graduate student at Campbellsville University. He has also been a member and volunteer with Kentucky Railway Museum since 2015, being a certified locomotive engineer, and has assisted with various restoration and maintenance projects.
